BIRDY

Robin has reoccurring nightmares of a foggy cornfield with a barn, where a dead deer speaks to her in the voice of her deceased Mother. When awake, Robin drowns every grieving moment or argument with her concerned step-father with substance abuse. When asleep, she is guided by a mysterious figure in where he calls, 'The Wick'.

Gregory Abel, an aspiring writer, moves into a city to pitch himself to an established editing firm. At first, chief editor Mora Franklin doesn't notice his potential; but instead, she grows a predatory interest towards his looks, rather than his passion.
